Short Course in Share Trading

As a stand alone course, the self contained Short Course in Share Trading covers all the essentials required to trade. It's designed for those students who want to learn how to profitably trade but without some of the more sophisticated analysis techniques contained in the flagship Diploma course.

On successful completion, students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment, and whilst assessment is optional, those students who chose to, and have achieved the required academic results, will have the option of continuing on to complete the final two modules in the Diploma.

Course Content

Students who complete the course will have the essential skills required to trade including how to select stocks, how to utilise a variety of trading methodologies to enter and exit the market and how to develop a profitable trading plan. The course includes:

How to back test to determine the most profitable trading plan on a stock
How to setup a trading account
Understanding the market and its efficiencies
Fundamental and technical analysis
How to choose a stock

How to analyse volume and liquid and illiquid stocks
Trend analysis
Multiple techniques for buying and selling
The tools and ratios required to determine your overall profitability
