Potash fertilizer prices are up over 170 per cent since 2021, as growth in global agricultural commodity prices rise. The value of the potash mining market is also forecast to grow around US$21 billion by 2026. Around 80 percent of the global supply of potash production is conducted in Canada, Russia, Belarus and China of which 40 per cent is produced in Russia and Belarus although supply from these countries was cut due to the Russian conflict. This means supply is tight, which is positive for potash stocks.
