Why ASIC issued a Stop Order on Saxobank CFDs?

In this week’s Talking Wealth Podcast, Dale looks at ASIC’s stop order on Saxobank, as ASIC temporarily stopped retail clients from opening CFD accounts. According to ASIC, Saxobank had deficiencies in their Target Market Determination (TMD). Saxobank complied with the order, which was lifted, but it raises the question whether the changes will really mean anything for retail clients.
